The process covers:

• Acquisition of plasma complying with strict quality and safety standards;
• Fractionating;
• Processing, to produce the end products;
• Distribution of the end products.

Kedrion has teamed up with the National Health Service in the project for the achievement of nationwide self-sufficiency for plasma-derived medicinal products made with plasma from Italian donors.

Kedrion receives plasma from the Regions and converts it into medicinal products which are sent back to the Regions to cater to the therapeutic requirements of the population.

Kedrion, relying on its leading position on the Italian market, is working with the health institutions of other countries to export this service
