VedoGreen, a subsidiary of IR Top Group, a Partner Equity Market of Borsa Italiana – LSE Group, specialising in financial services for green corporations, organised Waiting for Expo 2015, Green Economy 2.0. During the event, which took place in Milan on November 17, the “VedoGreen, Green Excellence in Innovation” Award for sustainable development was given to those Italian companies that have stood out for their innovative and technological expertise in their business models. Selected by an international jury that combined technical and financial skills, whose members included VedoGreen, UK Trade & Investment and Dintec, Kedrion won the prize within the “Big corporations. White biotech industry” category. The award was taken on the company’s behalf by its Vice Chairman, Rodolfo De Dominicis, who gave a brief speech, emphasising the great importance of social responsibility for Kedrion and its unfailing efforts to provide its staff with the greatest care and attention, to reduce its environmental impact and to be proactively involved in the local communities.

During the evening, Barbara Lunghi, Head of Mid&Small Caps Italy, a Primary Market of Borsa Italiana – LSE Group, gave a speech called I mercati di Borsa Italiana ed ELITE: strumenti di crescita per le società green (Borsa Italiana’s markets and ELITE: the green companies’ drivers of growth), placing emphasis on the importance of ELITE, a Borsa Italiana project designed to provide financial and managerial tools to those companies that intend to go public in the short term. Kedrion too recently joined the project.
