Covid-19, Kedrion supports a webinar on the management of Coagulopathy

The meeting, which focuses on the management of Coagulopathy in Covid-19 patients and is aimed at the international medical-scientific community,  is to be held on October 27th with the support of Kedrion Biopharma The seminar entitled “Covid-19 related Coagulopathy”  arises from the need to improve clinical and diagnostic understanding and to identify optimal therapeutic strategies to prevent and control one of the major complications in reported cases of Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS), where a worsening of the inflammatory state caused by the SARS-CoV-2 infection can seriously compromise the coagulation system and lead to d an increased death risk

The web meeting will be introduced and moderated, , by Dr. Armando D'Angelo, Director of the Coagulation Service and Thrombosis Research Unit of the IRCCS (Scientific Institute for Research, Hospitalization and Healthcare) of Ospedale San Raffaele, in his capacity as scientific advisor. It will feature presentations by Professor Giuseppe Matarese, from the Department of Molecular Medicine and Medical Biotechnology of the University of Naples Federico II, and Professor Isabella Quinti, Medical Director of the Primary Immune Deficiencies Unit of the Policlinico Umberto I (General Hospital).
