Kedrion Biopharma joins IPOPI – International Patient Organization for Primary Immunodeficiencies in celebrating World PI Week 2017, reaffirming the principles that underlie the partnership between company and international association: to extend awareness and to improve diagnosis and treatment of primary immunodeficiencies the world over.
World PI Week is celebrated globally from 22-29 April 2017 and IPOPI is one of the key organizations supporting the campaign. The association has recently issued a scientific editorial highlighting the need to ensure access to immunoglobulin therapies for patients with primary immunodeficiency, thereby improving their quality of life and the sustainability of healthcare systems.
