Veronica, a woman who shows up fully in everything she does: passion, work, travel, and life itself. With her bright smile and unmistakable presence, she moves through the world with energy, curiosity, and determination. From the outside, she may seem carefree, always traveling, laughing, and embracing every experience life has to offer. But behind that vibrant spirit lies a deeper story: a curious mind, a love for books, and a life that can never be reduced to a rare condition.

Veronica was diagnosed with Hemophilia, a rare bleeding disorder that has been part of her journey since childhood. Yet, rather than allowing the condition to limit her, she chose to keep dreaming bigger. With hundreds of goals on her list, she turned ambition into action, proving that a diagnosis does not define the boundaries of a person’s life. She has been a reporter, an English Teacher, she worked in radio, podcasting… Veronica turns ambition into something tangible: one dream, one experience at a time.

Her journey is one of the voices behind Rare But Real, a platform for awareness created to move beyond labels and put people at its core. Rare but Real was conceived to amplify visibility and awareness on rare and ultra-rare diseases, giving space to those living with the complexity of those conditions in a way that is raw, unfiltered, and unapologetically real.

Instead of defining individuals by their diagnosis, Rare But Real shares the stories of a community as they truly are: funny, complex, resilient, and deeply human — just like Veronica, and just like in real life.
