Professor Albert Farrugia, Kedrion Biopharma Senior Scientific and Regulatory Advisor, will lecture on the topic of “Delivery of care to patients with chronic diseases – facilitation through digitization” in the course of “The Future of Science” conference, which will be held in Venice, Italy from 22nd to 24th September. The event, which reaches its twelfth edition, is organized by the Umberto Veronesi, Tronchetti and Giorgio Cini Foundations, and is supported by Kedrion Biopharma.
The digital revolution, and its possible effects on the future of mankind, are in fact the main themes of the 2016 edition of “The Future of Science”. Specifically, Professor Farrugia’s lecture will focus on the evolution of a cohesive framework of digital technologies that assist in delivering care to, and engaging with, patients affected by chronic pathologies such as hemophilia and immune deficiencies.
